Sinister Review

Last night I went to see Sinister because from the reviews I had read and the trailer all seemed very good. After watching the film I was hugely disappointed the whole story was lacking in creativity and the ending seemed rushed and could have been written a lot better! I do have some positives though, The film was shot and edited extremely well. I loved a lot of the angles they did and their edit was quite experimental which I enjoyed. Other than that I really did not like this movie at all.

Paranorman Review

Paranorman is the new stop motion horror comedy film from directors Sam Fell and Chris Butler. It is about a young boy named Norman who has a gift that is anything but normal, Norman can see and speak to the dead. But his gift soon becomes more of a calling as it is up to Norman to stop the zombies that have risen from the dead and break the curse that was put onto his home town of Blithe Hollow by a witch. 

It is roughly 92 minutes long and a great watch for all the family no matter what the age. 

My Fiancee and I went to the cinema about 2 days ago to watch paranorman and we were two of the oldest people in the room watching besides the parents of the children. But I was completely blown away by this film. It has an amazing story line and not to mention some of the best stop motion I have seen in a long time! I loved everything about this movie from the way it was made, to all the small details that were put into every movement of the characters and I completely think that this is up there with any Tim Burton stop motion feature. 

It is definitely worth your time and money and I really wish there was more movies like this when I was a kid!
